Mission:
The Office of the
Second Vice President Mission is to monitor and coordinate government affairs
in all sectors of RGoZ, and the Union Matters in compliance with Zanzibar
Constitution, Laws and regulations, and maintaining of human rights and peoples
participation.

To supervise the implementation of the
RGoZ affairs.

To coordinate the national Festivals and
ceremonial activities.
c.
To improve the printing services.
d.
Improving Government services.

The Office has the
following objectives

Improving conducive working environment
for efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery and capacity building.

Improvement of ITC and Government
Website.
c.
Reducing the impact of both natural and
manmade hazards to the community through effective preparedness and improve
lively hood.
d.
Strengthening Zanzibar Global Fund
Country Coordinating mechanism (ZGFCCM) secretariat.
e.
To Coordinate Union Matters and Regional
Economic integration.
f.
To promote good governance, gender and
fighting against HIV/AIDS.
g.
To coordinate the implementation of
Ruling Party Manifesto.
h.
Coordinate the late leader’s memorial.
i.
To improve printing services for the
Government and Private Sectors.
